Looking for something louder!!

I had the oem muffler cut out and had a IMCO performance muffler put in its place, and exiting out the stock tailpipe. I am looking to get the truck a little louder. What would be the best way to do this?? Just a slant cut tip on the stock tail pipe? Should I have duals put on with/without tips??

I don't want to straight pipe the truck, or anything like that. I need the sound to be somewhat tame since it is mostly driven in town, but just louder that what it is now!

Thanks

Paul

I have to plug JBA again, I'm picky about sound and love mine. It's a K&N branded, JBA built (same exact exhaust) just has K&N instead of JBA on the tip. I Love it times 100. For stainless it was cheap, under 4 bills, and is high quality. I strongly recommend looking into a system from them. Bassani was also a thaught, they don't have a system for my truck thaugh. Magnaflow too, and neither did they- reg cab flareside 4x4, rare I guess. Any of these three will have what your looking for. You will spend a bit, but in my opinion, there is no upgrade more needed and more appreciated than a quality exhaust. By the way, love the 04 especially wheels and tires, awesome choices.

Dynomax makes what they call a bullet muffler. pretty much a glasspack and pretty inexpensive. I've heard a couple of V-8's with these things on and they sound pretty mean. check it out... http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

By the way PHS79, what in/out on that IMCO muffler did you use? center/ offset, center/center, offset/offset? Thanks!
