Volant Intakes

I have a Volant intake with an Air Ram scoop that mount where the tow hook is. I believe this is an exceptional unit, it is closed on the inside and designed to not let the hot air from the engine enter the unit. On this Forum I read about the Air Aid and AF1 but never Volant. When I spoke to the people at Gibson about Headers they recomended Volant. Anyone else here have this unit? Im thinking maybe its regional, since im in CA, and out here had never heard of the AF1.

I was at dyno day and everyone there who had an af1 made great power I would go with AF1, you might want to ask FX4METOO he has the Volant

I have a Volant on (03 5.4) and think its a great setup. No Dyno numbers to prove anything but it sounds good and rids my engine bay of the stock setup which is good enough.
