Flowaster super 40 or magnaflow

which muffler will produce a more throaty sound with headers? which is better for perforrmkance?

I think the new 5.4 with a magnaflow (not even w/ headers) sounds VERY deep, throaty, and straight badass. It sounds a lot faster than the truck really is lol. However, it isn't so loud that it drones you to death...if you just want LOUD, then I guess get the flow, but for PERFORMANCE magnaflow is the exhaust of choice for the 5.4.

not to mention I think it sounds "better' which is obviously my opinion, but you will probably notice 2/3s or better users on this board have magnaflow.

If it's sound you want, then go with the 40 series or even straight pipes. If it's "perforrmkance" that you want, that issue is debatable, and has been gone over 547584758947 times before...and I'm not going to start anything here. I noticed gains with my Flowmaster. Just try to find some truck with some exhausts on them and find what you like.
