It's real easy. The hardest part is taking off the old exhaust. If you plan not to keep the stock exhaust, cut it off. That will save a lot of time.

I have not worked on a 2000 F150. The Borla instructions are pretty straight forward. My exhuast had a round pin welded to it and it had to turned slightly before you could remove it.

I changed out the exhaust on my '01 and my '06 - the '01 was a little easier. No worries.

If you have to ask, you should be paying someone to do it for you.

That's a pretty stupid thing to say. How is anybody supposed to learn anything then?

I installed my Ford Racing / Borla exhaust myself on my 2003 F150 Supercab. It was pretty straightforward, taking out the old exhaust wasn't that hard, but it was a single piece from the cat back to the tailpipe, so it was pretty cumbersome. The Borla fit was impressive, just don't tighten everything at the start. On mine, there was a lot of tweaking before the pipes under the bumper were centered. The only problem I had was the hanger on the drivers side (the one Borla supplied) was to low, so the rear pipe was hanging in mid air are really wobbled. I took a hammer and banged the hanger up a little and everything was perfect.

Oh, and one more thing, spritzing some water on the bushings make the hangers come out a whole lot easier. I didn't want to use WD-40 and I didn't have any grease, so water it was.

A little info for you all, if your threading a nut on a stainless stud, put some anti-sieze on the threads. I have heard that threading will make heat and antisieze protects as well as lubes the threads for no problems. It should also say in the instructions.
