Long tubes and low end torque

Hi all, new guy here.

I have a 2WD 02 F150 5.4L, with an AF1 intake and magnaflow exhaust. I'm wanting to boost my low end grunt in the 1000-2500rpm range for towing and was wondering if the LTs would help in this area. Anyone have some seat-time experience to offer?

I will be getting a programmer sometime later, just want to finish up the basic bolt-on mods. If the LTs don't help low end, then i'll just get the programmer and call it done.

Thanks,
Jay
