I got a flowmaster 40 series duals out the back and it sounds way better than the maggie clips. Guess I'm never buying a maggie system.

Thanks Matt I ordered it today. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. I hope it sounds good. Have you ever heard this system? It should sound the same as yours right? Are you happy overall with this system?

Can someone shed some light on these comments? Where is the DOCUMENTED loss of low end torque with the IMCO Extreme?

That is the sound made by the muffler, it isn't distortion. Some vehicles experience worse than others. In a non-biased statement, the open through design muffler is what created the term, "fart muffler" because of that popping. Its worse on the 4 bangers by far, but you can experience that popping on most mufflers. I've heard a jeep CJ 6 cylinder with a flowmaster make that noise, although on a flowmaster its more like a burbble than a pop.
