gibson never really phased me just because their prices seemed soooooo incredibly low i didnt think they were a good product....atleast when you compare to flowmaster or magnaflow.....how are they.....are they worth buying or would it be better to get a custom one done or buy the flowmaster/magnaflow etc..im getting a custom one done im just wondering about all this

I put a Gibson cat back on a 99 4.0 Ranger. It droned in the cab. After a while the stainless didn't look like stainless.

My Gibson Swept Side muffler lasted a whole year! It developed a rattle so I replaced it with a Flo-Pro.

I did keep the nice 3" mandrel bent tailpipe and SS tip!

Its really too bad. I had a Gibson cat back on my Bronco. One of the baffles in the muffler rusted out and make a horrible sound in under a year.

They were good about replacing it.

I figured they would be, but I didn't even go that route. It was much easier to go in to my favorite muffler shop and have them cut out the Gibson and replace it. Glad I did too..... My Flo-Pro has been trouble free for over 80,000 miles since then and it did provide more 'seat O the pants' performance and sounds better too!

Muffler

I dont like them cuz they dont last that long but if try flows or magnaflows but i might even try borla exhaust if u dont mind the price but your best bet for cheap wise is Flowmaster by far.
