Magnaflow or Flowmaster?????????

I am taking my truck to the shop tomorrow to get my exhaust redone and I can't decide on the 14" magnaflow or the 40 series Flowmaster. I am thinking the Magnaflow. I just hope that it will be loud enough. I like it loud. I am taking off my cats. I have some 02 simulators and I am putting in an x-pipe and true duals. I think that the Flows will be a little to loud without the catalytic converters. That is why I am thinking Magnaflow, but I will be pissed if its not loud enough. All I hear about Magnaflow is that they aren't loud enough. This will be the fourth time I have redone my exhaust and I want it to be the last. Anyone have their cats taken off and running Magnaflows??????

Go with the MagnaFlow. I tried flowmasters , twice & hated them both. I put on a 18" MagnaFlow its not real loud but it still sounds good. I know that the 14" are louder than what I have now. But I wasn`t looking for loud. I hope this helps!!!

X2, I personally run a Magnaflow and I couldn't be happier. I'm not sure why anyone runs Flowmaster. I tend to sell a ton of Magnaflow too.

i have the 40 flow and its a nice loud muff.. If you want great sound i would recomend that you go with the flow but im not sure how much louded it would be without the cats. I think either way u will love it.. What size motor do you have? i have the 4.6 and from what i hear on this site is that the 4,6 is louded than then the 5.4 fyi Hope you like what you get and this was helpful.. If i get my camara working i will make a movie clip for you to hear the sound..

I have an 18" magnaflow. Back in my teens and beginning 20's, I wouldnt be happy with the volume. I am a little calmer myself now and I love the deep mellow growl mine has. I havent heard the 14" magnaflow, but I had a 40 series on a nother truck (V6) and loved it for being loud... Its all about what ya like!

I went with the Magnaflows, man I wish my camera wasn't broken, so I could put a sound clip on here. This thing sounds bad azz! Taking off the cats really opens this thing up. Oh yeah by the way I have the 5.4. It is very very deep and hollow sounding. It doesn't even sound like the same motor.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? The little camera on my post on the top right side is not my truck. I don't know how to get it off of there or replace it with a picture of my truck.
