Question New exhaust suggestions

Looking for a new exhaust with a throaty (not too loud in cab) but reasonable [cheap].

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest JBA or Magnaflow. Both systems sound like what you want. I have a JBA and it is great. Looks great, high quality anf fully stainless. Also not very expensive. They were one of the only systems for a reg. cab flareside. Magnaflow is recommended also. Go with stainless if you live in an all seasons area, no rot that way. I give aluminized about 4 years max. I got mine from Paul's High Performance in Jackson MI.

I too would suggest magnaflow. Everything I've studied up on this websites points to the Magnaflow system as being the best performance gainers for these newer fords. I'm currently running a MagnaFlow SISO and love the sound, especially when I get on it. Happy Shopping....

I have a Magnaflow SIDO on mine and couldn't be happier -- it has a nice throaty growl under acceleration that softens out to a nice mellow note at highway speeds!

MF is good, as is JBA. I have JBA SIDO Catback plus Headers. You can check my install thread to hear the combination. FYI, your JBA exhaust is actually a K&N exhaust. JBA bought out their exhaust line...

I completely agree w/ all previously mentioned threads. In my own experience, I'm running 2.5" cat-back, Magnaflow X-Pipe, 2- Dynomax glasspacks, & dumps to end up w/ TRUE duals. Good deep rumble for $250 (inc. install)! The performance difference is amazing!! I haven't been dyno'd(if that's a word) but the gain is quite noticeable. It is a lil' loud in the cab, but they dump @ the back of cab sooo if you did go that route you could run them further or side exit w/ tips!! Good luck & keep us posted on how it turns out.

Question

I'm looking for a new exhaust for my brand new 05 F150. Does anyone have an experience with the new BANKS Monster Exhaust bolt on kit? I'm looking at that pretty seriously since they have a lifetime warranty. I'm just unsure about the sound? I'm young so louder is better but I can't go any further than cat-back since I'm suck under factory warranty for a while.

OR anyone know much about the Roush Racing system either?

Thanks
