Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Hey guys,

I am getting a exhaust leak on both sides of the engine and think that I need to replace the gaskets. How hard is this? I know I will have to pull out the wheel wells to get to the studs but any other advice would be appreciated.

Take it somewhere to have it done

It is a really hard job. Ussually those studs are rusted out and have a very good chance of breaking off when trying to remove them. Then you have a real problem. You have to drill and tap them out. ITs not fun. I took mine in and had one side done for 350 bucks. Shop around and get the best price. Also get good gaskets from either ford or a good gasket company. Don't buy the el cheapo gaskets from the parts store.
