just bought the magnaflow y-pipe and 3" dia. 18" muffiler today on ebay. Has any one put the y-pipe on there truck? didn't know if there might be any probs. with the install. I'm looking to do it all myself and was wanting to get all of the info i could before i start.

 

Yes, the topic has been thoroughly beat into the ground in the past. The install is straightforward. You should have a 2.5" mandrel bent 90 degree elbow handy to curve over the driver's side pipe. Search "Y-Pipe" and you'll get numerous installation tips from members with a variety of Y-Pipes and systems. There are photos as well.
