Rust in new Flowmaster Exhaust Tips

Rust in new Flowmaster Exhaust Tips. Is this normal. Its only in one tip.

If they're chrome, yup. All chrome tips rust and look like crap within a year or two.

If there stainless- steal then they should rust like that. If its just a chrome tip then yeah you will get rust right away from the road sludge and if you do any off-roading.

Watch one morning after you start it. Let it run for 5 minutes or so and see if you have any condensation coming out of the exhaust. Its common, but usually if its minor the seep holes in the muffler would let it out on a factory system. When you change most don't incorporate the seep hole so you have to blow it out, hence the inside of the tip rusting.
