My stock muffler was shot but the tailpipe is good. I put a Flo-Pro muffler under it and kept the tailpipe. It sounds subtle on the outside and I don't notice it on the highway. Its fully welded and very heavy. I've run these before and always have liked that they are not too loud but do sound better than stock.

 

I had a flo-pro years ago on my explorer. It was a decent performing muffler and it had a great cheap price tag!
