So I put on my Flowmaster system yesterday.
I am looking at the little lunch box sized 40 series...... Then I take out the coffin sized OEM and can not fathom...... WHY is the OEM one so damn big! lol....
I know it has to do with sound but it is HUGE.... 4 foot long minimum... You could litterally hide a body in there.....

i installed a sinlge 40 series SI/SO flowmaster on my friends 4.6 the other day and it sounds great. just cut the old one off and put the flowmaster dumped. nice deep tone but not too loud.
