if i were going with high flow cats and no mufflers-i'd use 2.25 "
it would be to free flowing and u might risk low end loss-now if you threw mufflers on there i'd use 2.5- keep x pipe as close to original location as y as possible-i'm running 2.5 true duals-14" magnaflow mufflers and x pipe on my 04 van soon-phil

I wouldn't straight pipe an '05. I think you might be walkin in the wrong direction with that. Throw on a set of flowmaster 1 chambers if you want that loud!

ask if they carry a single chamber flowmaster, and from there is up to you...whether you want dual tips staight out the back, stock exit..etc.
