5.4 SIDO the way to go?

If your going by dyno sheets I guess the magnaflow SIDO system is giving you the highest h.p. correct? My Xcal is being done now and I had it programmed with the intention to have my exhaust done also. Went to a local shop today and asked them what to do....they pulled out a Magnaflow DIDO muffler and said this is the way to go....no dyno information available online about this set-up. Is this because the DIDO is a bad idea or b/c their is much more labor in doing one of these and wouldn't make for a simple bolt on?

If you're gonna go through the trouble to add duals, why use a single muffler? Thats like doing 90% of the job to me.

a DIDO muffler will flow just as well as 2 individual mufflers.

yeah, so what's the advantage of having DI/DO over SI/SO magnaflow? I was considering this myself. Also, will there be any sound difference, like louder?

a dual inlet dual muffler will not produce as good as numbers as 2 mufflers and a true x pipe mounted to as close to the original y as possible-iv'e seen dyno numbers of both systems on the same truck-phil
