Ok, I am looking to upgrade just the muffler on my rig... I would love to upgrade to a cat back system but think that the stock pipes are just fine. Do you guys think that the stock pipes are that much different than the cat back pipes from Maganaflow? It's the muffler that needs to be changed on the stock setup...... So, which model Magnaflow muffler will be the loudest, that will still fit the stock pipes. Thanks,

 

I think it would be the 14" muffler.
F150 Duke had a 18" put on his and he thought it was too loud. He then threw a resonator before the muffler and it brought the noise down.

 

I'm thinking of doing this also. My question is, do you want a straight thru or an off-set pipe for a muffler. Would one be louder than the other, and is my stock piping off-set? I've seen pepole have either. I'm thinking about the 18" 5x8x18.

 

Not sure if it matter's about the pipe's being offset or center.
I would think size would matter the most.

 

The loudest magnaflow is going to be the magnapack, they sound great.

 

what's the magnapack, never heard of it?
