Muffler question

Anyone ever experiment with moving the muffler from close to the cat. or putting it right by the rearend on there exhaust system? If so was there a difference how did the sound compare? I'm getting a Imco Extreme Sido Muffler and was just wondering if there was a difference so I know where I should put mine in the exhaust system. thanks

putting it in the middle of the exuast system will give it a more low deeper sound level than moving it closer to the tip, closer to the tip gives it more of a race car sound but it is louder, good luck
