Cool exhaust manifold bolt breakage

Just bought a 98 150 xlt super cab with a 4.6. the rear stud on each side of the manifolds are both broken. checked with a ford tech and he stated the best to do is buy aftermaket manifolds. as the originals armost likely warped. has any one used the aftermarkets? they are a lot cheaper than at ford. also what about the manifold bolts. here they are real pricey. could you use regular metric bolts.

On an 8 bronco II, I had three bolt break on a passengers side manifold. A lot of JB weld later, it sealed perfectly, although I pity the fool that tries to remove it later
