ok i've tried flowmaster and IMCO and loved them both. I have decided to go ahead and try magnaflow as well but stumbled upon some questions. I am going to take out all 4 cats and replace them with 2 magnalfow hi-flow cats but dont know what to do next. i am wanting an X or H pipe with dual magnaflow mufflers dumped . i am also considering one muffler, either DIDO or SIDO and replacing the Y pipe. i like loud exhaust is the reason im considering the dual mufflers. any suggestions??? which would yield the best power gains while keeping it pretty loud??? what is the loudest magnaflow???

the loudest magnaflow is the 14 inch, i have a siso on my truck and its pretty loud. almost as loud as the imco extreme. but while its not quite as loud, its deeper with a more true exhaust note. rather than the imco that just blurbs bass and drone. as far as duals i have never done them so i really have no idea. i do know that those hi flow cats your talking about are great cats and will make good power. good luck with your project.

I would go with the high flow cats, then an X-pipe as close to the cats as possible, and then 2 SI/SO Magnaflow mufflers dumped. If funds are tight go for a DI/DO, but the two singles will probably have more ***** (and the bragging rights too! )

 

For the cat's , use a pir of Magnaflow large cap. or polished stainless units

X is most efficient , just use the muffler magnaflow uses on the lightning system with a built in x-pipe

is the 11" magnaflow i see on their website any louder or should i just stick with the 14"?
