has anyone used or heard the new banks monster exhaust on an 5.4 I wanna get it but if it sucks I'll get something that is recomended. A friend of mine is a banks dealer so he's hookin me up for pretty cheap. What ya all think?

 

I have heard one. I was very surprised to see it was a Banks, as I have not seen that before. It sounded exactly like a diesel truck and was quite nice. It had a deeper sound even than a Magnaflow.

 

I have one. I like it pretty well, though there is a drone about 1800-2000 RPM in the cab. Nothing like a flowmaster drone though. Its a deeper/louder sound than a magnaflow (magnaflow was just too quiet for me).

Installation was great. Everything fit and lined up perfect -best install of the ones I've had (edelbrock,gibson,magnaflow)

 

Depending on how cheap. I don't know what they go for but probably a pretty penny since its banks. The only one I have seen is the single outlet, wonder if your friend knows if Banks makes a dual exhaust. I might buy a Banks if they came dual.

 

Get them if you want some good sound. I recommend Magnaflow.
