rerouted exaust pics

my behind the rear passenger side wheel exuast was getting tore up from all the offroading i do, all the rocks and dirt the tire throws up just tore up the tip so i pulled out my welder and sawzall and went to work to fix this problem, got a new exaust tip(magnaflow 14" 4") for $17 and cut the existing tubing and re welded all the hangers and tubing so now it comes out in front of the pass. wheel, i think it looks alot better, here are some pics

not the best welds in the world but no leaks

That's easy for you to do, you can just stand up under your truck without a lift
Looks good. Did the shorter route change the sound level?

it didnt really make it louder but it did make it alittle deeper since the tip is closer to the muffler now

Now your wheel is going to get carbon build up on it and turn color after awhile.

If you notice that, you should run a down tip right off the muffler or go back to the spare tire and turn between the leaf and tire to the rt rear corner bumber. Just a idea incase you get tired of cleaning that wheel all the time.

Becasue of the lift and larger tire sticking out it won't discoulor it. The exhaust will flow up and over the wheel. My Borla comes out at the same spot.

just curious if the tip adds any tone or is it purely cosmetic, i've been thinkin of chopping my pipe back and putting one on for some time now.
