04 5.4 Fx4 Motor Noise

Has Anyone Heard Of Any F150 With Some Pretty Bad Moter Noise At Engine Start Up. It Was Bad Enough That I Took It Back To The Dealer And They Told Me It Was Not Enough Back Pressure Caused By The Flowmaster Duals I Had Put On The Truck. Any Feedback Would Be Wonderfully Appeciated. I Thought Maybe The Muffler Place Did Not Install The Muffler Properly Or Maybe There Was A Certain One That I Needed.

Thats a load of crap. I converted my 98 5.4 2V to 3 inch duals, replaced the four factory fat cats with 2 jeep 6cyl cats, and added flowmaster 40 series to that. I have no backpressure issues and massive flow. I think the dealer is lying through his teeth to you

Yeah, That Is What I Thought. I Am Afraid The Oil Pump Is Going Bad And They Just Did Not Want To Do The Work Under Warranty.

Well, think about it like this. When it blows, you'll get a whole new motor! It sucks, but it can be proven and I don't see how you could relate the oil pump to the backpressure from exhaust
