Headers on a newer engine?

I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts and opinions were about putting headers on a newer (99 and up) 5.4l... Just wondering, as I don't see much talk about them on the site. It's a mod that I've tossed around for down the line, but not if it's not a worthy mod...

Most will tell you that unless you are pulling some serious HP, then you don't need them as the stock manifold flow quite well. I run a blower on a 98 model 5.4 and a full dual 3 inch exhaust, with stock manifolds
