hottexhaust.com problem

I tried to use a credit card to order last night and had an e-mail this morning saying that I needed to call before they would accept it. They wanted more personal information which my Dad (his card) told them to shove it, and for me to search locally. Well I call these guys and they tell me 620 dollars installed for a Magnaflow which I can get from hottexhaust for 393 and got a buddy who will install for free. Pisses me off!

Sounds like you need your own card. Or your dad needs to cool his jets because judging from the amount of business they've done with members of this board, they are a reputable vendor. And shipping is free if I recall, so that is one hell of a deal. Perhaps presenting it in a financial sense will help your case?

Try going back to hottexhaust and going with the personal check, money order, or cashier's check route. 620 is a big difference in $$$. Like fourpointsix says, they are very reputable on this board, which is my I used them.

I agree with the others, however, I thought I remember reading on this site that performance peddler was selling the exhaust for 330.00 with free shipping, however I may have my facts mixed up, good luck with your exhaust pursuit, Josh

Performance Peddler will accept offers that are lower than what is listed. I got mine that way. They have both a "best offer" and a price match guarantee. I gave a best offer that was a good $100 less than the best price I found online and they honored it. Can't beat that.
