I am not doubting you, I believe you(sorry if I came off the wrong way). I paid a butt load for a custom SS system and it rusted and coroded to (a teeny amount). Since then I have been building them myself (when I have a chance). This is when it comes down to material, some companies, not all use factory grade SS. Which in turn is a cheaper grade. I buy bends purge the tubing and weld them together peice by peice. I wish I had a camera(and had a clue how to use this computer), when I am done with the one I am working on for my truck I will show you what I mean(as long as I can find someone to help me out).
