Just curious has anyone who has installed the SI/DO #16614 ran into any issues on a 2004 Supercrew?
I took measurements and ordered the kit, problem was that Ford changed the short pipe (intermediate) in front of the muffler and the pipe length leading into (welded to) the muffler sometime in '04... There was some confusion on the measurements I gave, so they are placing me at fault for ordering the wrong part.
My understanding is if you have a 16" intermediate you need the 24" lead in from Magnaflow, 22" intermediate you need a 18" lead in. For those driving '05 Supercrews I beleive the 18" lead in is used... Does this sound correct, if you have a similar setup I'm curious what your combo is.
In my situation I decided to go to Ford and pick up the longer intermediate so I could install my exhaust this weekend with the kit I have... If I'm right I will contact my supplier to discuss my added expenses... ($43)
