Cool Bassani Exhaust. SI/SO HELP.

I am thinking hard about replacing my SI/DO system with a Bassani SI/SO stainless catback system. Can anyone give me any information on the Bassani product. I am looking at the Street Competition kit. Any install tips, performance info would be great. Thanks.

I got the Quiet Thunder SI/SO on my 04 5.4 SCab. LOVE it. Performance seems on par with Magnaflow (based on my friend and I racing after each mod) and the sound is great. Very comparable to Magnoflow, just mellower without really being quiter.

I don't know anything about the Street Comp series, but my systems fit and finish is virtually perfect. And built like a tank. The flared ball/socket type connections are heavy duty and easy to use. Bassani seems to put the time and thought into their systems. And as far as my QT system, the performance was better than expected. I would guess your Street Comp system will be louder.

Hope this helped. Quality product - for sure.

Thanks LES. I've had the Magnaflow for a couple of years now and would like just a little bit louder (but not too much) sound. I have almost decided but still would like to hear a little more input on the Bassani. From what I have read the quality is there.

P.S. Did you do your own install?

My stainless Bassani exhaust is now installed and really sounds sweet. It is actually a little quieter that the Magnaflow I replaced. (A real suprise). Mine is the Street Comp. model not the Quite Thunder. I think that I have a little more throttle response by changing from the SI/DO to the SI/SO. I have no question that I made the right move going with the BASSANI!! Awesome product.
