All I can say is wow... First off, the kit came packed awesome. Getting the factory exhaust off was easier than I thought. After I saw it was keyed by the muffler to the connecting pipe. It made it real easy since I cut it into 2 pieces right at the muffler outlet (I left about 5 inches after the outlet incase I want to put the stock system back on). After the stock system was off, it took me a total of 10 minutes to install the Magnaflow. Perfect fit all the way.

First impressions are great sound all the way through the rpm band. Sounds great, like I think the 5.4 should

Just a FYI to anyone interested in the 16612 kit...

Is it louder than stock? YES, Outside yes, inside not really (more so when the windows are up). Still a lot quieter than my bro's Power Stroke

Is the interior noise louder than stock? YES (not a lot but you know it is on especially with the windows up and no radio playing, but who drives with no radio )

Is the increased sound annoying? Not to me, but it would depend on the person.

How is the fit/finish? Better than the factory system IMHO.

I am thinking about the same kit for my truck. I am concerned that it might be too loud..My ? is ...Does the 16612 come with the 18" or 24" muffler

 

18" Muffler in the kit.

I actually just took mine off and re-installed the factory pipes. Too loud and too much vibration for me. Also, the middle hanger being off-target bothered me a bit.

 

I think I'm going to go with SIDO but use the 24" muffler instead of the 18". Seems like a lot of people are starting to fess up to how loud the 18" can be.

Is there a big performance difference between the 18" and the 24"?
