4X4 Headers question, need experts

I have a 2000 4x4 SCab that I want to put headers on, preferrably long tubes. Has anyone else done this. What brands are the best? I 'm looking to do a full exhaust and louder is better..... Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone done longtubes? I was told that Dynatech makes them for the 4x4s?

yes Dynatech does make them for the 4x4 but they are very pricey, about $1000 go to their website and check them out

i would love to have long tubes as well but are the power gains worth paying $1k?? wat are some good shorty headers that offer good power gains for a decent price??

our stock exuast manifolds flow pretty good, i would not expect you to gain mor than about 10hp and 12 TRQ with any set of shortys, i think if you are looking for HP per dollar spent you should start looking elsewere, good luck

Thanks for the replies everyone. I see about the Dynatechs being pricey.
Big player... I'm hoping I'll gain more than 10hp with the addition of any headers. By the way, this truck is supercharged (9psi+) with almost every mod that can be done.
I'll just have to do some research and see what is best for me. One big prob. will be fitting in the longtubes. Theres a bit more to move out of the way w/ those.

A few years ago Sport Truck magazine did a preformance test on a 1997 Expy with the 5.4. They installed a set of Gibson headers on it and saw *0* hp gain. They attributed it to the heads being the non PI and able to flow only so much.
