Help, '05 F150 5.4L exhaust question?
OK, I have an '05 F150 SuperCrew FX4 with a 5.4L?
Which exhaust would you recommend and why? I'm trying to increase HP and torque with a moderate sound/tone. Angry but not pissed off tone. SS Only, side exit preferred. Cat back, using factory hangers preferred. Trying to decide between before tire or after. I have Westin platinum SS tubular step bars which cover the cab area. Appears to be room for either exhaust, I need your help. All information is appreciated.

Gibson
I have the swept side Gibson on my 05 F-150 Lariat. The gibson will use all of the factoy hangers and is pretty easy to install. My friend has the magnaflow and is a Much louder in the cab than mine. That is one of the trademarks of the gibson is the sound is at the pipe rather than in the cab. I stood on the street corner and had them both pss by, the mangnaflow is a litttle beefeier (sp) at the lower RPMS. I like them both but went with the Gibson, I wanted other people to hear me coming but was looking for the quite in the cab.
Hope that helps
