straight pipes

straight pipes on v6

i want to run 2.5" straight pipes off of the cats will thier be enough back pressure so that it dont burn up my valves and will it through a check engine light

i use to have the same on my truck i cut the y pipe a ran true dual 2.5 in staight pipes after the cats the check engine light doesnt come on an never had a problem with my valves but its gonna pop like hell when u get on it

i just installed stright pipe off the cats on my truck and i notice a loss of back pressure but there is still plenty of it. i will tell you for the first 10 mins of running it. it will crackle and pop. after the cats warm up it is really deep and throughty. FYI it is loud.
