Clamps or weld ???

I just finished installing my Banks Monster and I was curious which would be better, using the supplied clamps or having it welded. As always, thanks for your opinions and knowledge.

Over time, the clamped section will form a layer of rust and seal itself perfectly. Or you could just weld it, both ways work well.

That may be the way the Flowmaster guys do it, but when you buy a quality stainless exhaust you don't have to rely on rust to seal up the pipes.

Yeah, I knew that would come up sooner or later, and I can't disagree. There are a couple of benefits to stainless, if you are a high roller and can afford it
