Magnaflow Muffler with Stock Piping...
Maggie tips don't seem too bad to me. What size are you looking for? Skip anything Chrome as they will rust in a year. Water is a byproduct of combustion.
Tip
This is the tip I welded on my stock tail pipe. It went on very easy. It does stick out a liitle further than the stock pipe, but I have wider than stock Nitto Terra Grapplers on my truck so they compliment each other and it doesn't look silly. Magnaflow's website says $39.00 for the tip. I paid $35.00 at a local muffler shop. I love the look of the tip, although it has discolored a little around the center of the tip. I think the hot exhaust is the culprit, the tip has a light yellowish tint surrounded by a slight bluing of the metal. Good luck man, it sounds great and turns heads when I get on the throttle. With gas at $2.90 a gallon in Denver, I have to be a little more conscientious, but I still let loose once in a while...

I did mine that way, No probs and getting about 1/2 MPG better! Bought a Magnaflow muffler part # 12245 and had muffler shop cut off stock muffler ( that damn thing weighs about 75 pounds). they had to add a 16" pipe to make up for the space of the stock. Sounds real good not loud, low rumble. Sounds good while at highway speed. Total cost about $200. Don't need the stainless or aluminum out here in Colorado as there is no rust or salt.
I want the 12" tip, anything longer welded to my stock pipe would stick out too far and look stupid. I did some measuring and discovered that the pipe is about 11-12" long after the bend behind the rear tire. After searching every online retailer I can find no one sells this tip. Looks like I'll have to order it through an exhaust shop.
