Glass Packs!

whats a glass pack in terms of use and in terms of what it does for you car? sound/performance?

dynomax makes the best glass packs but check with DPS because for most part they violate noise ordinances and are illegal in some states

I dont see why Dnyomax would really be any better than all the others (maybe the crappy crappy ones) A glass pack is prett much a glass pack. About the only difference between some is that some have a perforated inner pipe, and some have little louver type things.

I like the way they sound better than mufflers. Just a mellower, deeper type tone to me. I have dual's on my 99 4.6 with glasspacks and it sounds real nice.

i like my glass packs (i forget which brand tho) i have a 14 inch glass pack on each of my pipes after the cats. you can get different sizes to change the sound, the smaller the glass pack the louder the truck

heres a hint put on glass packs drive around for 2 hours and stick your garden hose up into the glasspacks

my glass pack is getting louder

i have a glasspack on my 302 truck from when i bought it..its a few years old but is holding up awesome...the ppl who owned it before me put a glasspack on it and ran the pipe inside of the passenger rear wheel..i cut it off and dumped it and it keeps getting louder, when i'm barley on the throttle it sound like a 5.0 stang
