ceramic coated header ?'s

Just wondering if its worth the extra cost to go with the ceramic coated headers or just the painted headers?

Any experiences with the ceramic? As I had painted headers on my mustang and the paint basically fell off in a week.

thanks for any info.

I had the JBA silver ceramic coated ones on my '94 4.0L ranger...they looked brand new when I sold it a year and half to two years after installing them. My set for my current truck is also ceramic but the titanium injected ceramic. Personally, I thought underhood temp went down a little on my Ranger when I had them, and I liked that they kept the look so I figure for the few extra bucks compared to keeping them looking good it was very worth it. Just my opinion...
