? for fourpointsix

I just recieved my imco on wednesday. It kinda looks like a flowmaster knock off. My question is, did you loose any torque out of it? I am scared that I just got my truck running good with the xcal2 to loose some performance off the line. Its the single chamber si 3"/do 2 1/2". Tell me how your ride feels.

Noname05, I lost no torque with the IMCO. I gained it all back from my previous Flowmaster setup. The low end gains were noticeable to me in the fact that I take a certain hill that I drive at 45 MPH, and the difference is night and day. With the Flowmaster my truck downshifted to 3rd gear and with the IMCO it stays steady in OD uphill. While the low end gains are not huge I got a large boost in the high end. This of course is due to the higher revving nature of the 4.6L motor in the first place. And yes, it will take a few tanks of gas for the computer to "notice" the exhaust change and adjust accordingly. You will see some gas mileage out of the deal.
