I have a 92 F-150 with a 5.0 and about 180,000 miles on it. It runs good for what it is. I want to wake it up a little with an exhaust. I want to take out the cats but I was told that it will run like crap if I do because of where the O2 sensor is on the equalizer pipe. If I have the exhaust shop run true duals all the way back and put a crossover pipe as close to the engine as possible and weld a bung in for the 02, will that work or is there something else I can do?
