What year 302 is it? I had an 83 that sounded awsome with them, and an 84 bronco that had headers and sounded even better, especially when the crankshaft broke and I built a 351 for it, and my 84 had a 351 but sounded sweet, so I would ditch the glass packs and put on headers, leave the cats for low end and run straight pipes, but thats my .02.

its a 1996
i want a good sound but i dont want to buy headers, i dont really need them and my manifolds are fine but if i get extra $$ i might look at some long tube headers and high flow cats and what not
do you think itll sound good with manifolds- stock cats- Y pipe and pipes out the back???

Get rid of the y pipe and put a crossover like an x or h pipe, but the manifolds will sound good too
