Need advise

I curently own a 2004 f-150 supercrew XLT. I am looking to put new exhaust on it and was woundering if you guys could give me some advice. I was leaning towards the Borla exhaust but any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Get magnaflow

I also have a super crew 04 with a 5.4lt 3 valve. I have owned it for a little over a year and I origionally installed true dual flowmasters. I now have true dual magnaflow and I can tell you from experience that magnaflow is the best bang for the buck. Borla exhaust systems are over priced and do not give you the power gains of magnaflow. In my opinion the magnaflow also sound far better than either borla or flowmaster.

blakerman,
What was the sound difference like between the Flowmaster and the Magnaflow? I'm also looking for exhaust and those two are at the top of my list so far. How does the true dual sound compare to a SISO? I was planning on getting true duals or at least dual downs, anything to get rid of that stock Y-Pipe but not looking for something loud and obnoxious.

go with the magnaflow

I have owned both single inlet sido and tru dual flowmasters and neither have the sound quality of the magnaflow. Magnaflow has a deep clean crisp tone, not the echo driven drone of the flowmaster. I have been converted from the flowmaster flock and prlly wont go back. Trust me magnaflow is the right choice.
