Exhaust Gaskets

Hi all. I have a 96 F150 with inline six. I have an exhaust leak. It is leaking where the exhaust manifold bolts to the head. I got a quote from one shop to replace the exhaust gaskets, the intake gasket and the upper plenum gasket for $350 parts and labor. They said that they have to take off the intake to work on the exhaust. Is this reasonable?

Thanks,
Rand

imo yes. they wanted over 500 for my old 91 gmc v-8 and that didnt look too tough to do. the ford has many more parts in the way. its just time consiming not hard. if they can do it in one day its a go

thanks

Thanks for the response. I got two more estimates. CarX wanted 500. GoodYear said 379. All assuming head bolts don't brake. So, I'm taking it to the independent that gave me the first estimate. There were a couple of shops that didn't even want to touch it.
