I have a 88 with a 351 and want to install headers on it. My problem is that I'm not sure what the sensors will do once I put the headers on. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

 

If you are leaving your cats on you will be fine, because there isn't any sensors in your manifolds, but if you are taking them off or gutting them then you can get an O2 dummy sensor for about 80 bucks that sends a generic code to your pcm.

What kind of headers?? will they replace the factory manifolds and hook up to the y pipe, or are they headers like headman or hookers. looking for true duels.. and is it a 4x4...
