Most of the muffler shops like midas and carx are not make as much money as they did in years past, because of car companies putting stainless steel systems on new cars. Plus they don't use good pipes, they used OEM walker pipes 90% of the time.

 

A local shop did my Flowmaster 40 with 3" tips for $225. Sounds great, I love it.
