FLowmaster delta flow 40..yes.

I took my 04 f150 crew to the muffler shop as I wanted a little more sound
from the almost LTD sounding engine. I did, however, not want a booming,
droning, nascar sound driving up the interstate at 80mph so loud you couldn't
talk. He pushed me to the flowmaster delta series 50. No drone with the
delta flow technology and more sound. Well that exhuast, on our trucks, is
just a squeak above stock. I told him it sound almost no different. He said
every car and truck sound different, and ours with 4 cats is very quiet.

I had him switch out the 50 series for a 40, and it is absolutely perfect.
THis was a delta flow 40, not the original forty that all the mustangs
sound like, but a mild rumble at idle, a barelly audible cruise sound, and
a real decent growl at full throttle.

I'lll must admit, these trucks are very well soundproofed and this exhaust is
just what your looking for if want a little sound, but still keep the truck
very family and neighborhood friendly.

i have a hard time hearing my true duals inside of my 95 Ford, and they exit at 45*'s. Very easily talk and everything. its loud with the windows down, but no drone on the highway or anything.

Which Engine?

This is exactly the kind of information I'm looking for. Thanks for the writeup. Which engine do you have?

I must agree. I just got the 40 series installed on my 5.4 2005 Supercab. Have duals going out the back. It's perfect. I drive almost 90 miles a day to and from work, so the no dronning was important to me. Curious if you noticed any change in gas mileage???

I installed the 430402 series in mine. It's a Chevy application but the Ford engine makes it much sweeter
