did you make it true dual or did you add a Y pipe in there, i have the 40 series flowmaser dual out the back with 3.5" tips and it aint loud enough for me and i am wanting to make it straight after the cats, also did you loose any power or did you gain power. i bet your truck sounds good now

they put a y pipe in the place were the old muffler was and then ran dual out the back... but na i dont think i lost any horse power maybe gained some.. might just be the sound tho... i love the sound... when ur goin 70 down the highway u cant even hear it in the cab but my friend told me it sounds bad as hell on the outside.. and when u get on it growls.. ull love it trust me... it loud when u want it and quiet when u wont it... i no what ur talkin bout the with the 40 series my friends has them on his 2000 f-150 5.4l and it aint loud at all.. but sounds good tho.. but he is gettin his changed like mine are... also i good thang bout it it only cost me $185 for everything.. so if u have tips and it dual itll only cost u like 30 bucks i think.. so i would get if i was u...

it will cost you $150+ for it. I bet you got chrome tips. I got stainless tips and had true duals ran for $240. Also im the truck, its hard to hear the exhaust with windows up, when you roll them down and open up the back window you can hear it. no drone on the highway or anything. I recommend true duals with hi-flow cats
