Dual In Front Tires

Anyone can help me decide which exhaust system would be awesome for my 97 f150. i currently have some kind of system where my tip ends in the front of my passenger rear tire. i wanna put a dual exhaust system that flows out in front of both rear tires. any suggestions???

A good set up like that would be the Gibson Super Truck. It sounds great and they are quality exhausts. Mine corroded to dead at about 45K miles. I was expecting more but to avoid that you better get the SS instead of the aluminized.

Low rumble is nice but not too loud and it awakens at full throttle.

One other thing is that I prefer round 45º slash cut tips instead of the rectangular ones that comes with the ST. That's why I am looking to build a system like that one with different tips.

Good luck with your project.

I put flowmaster on mine both tips in front of pass. rear tire. The muffler shop said that they could not put in front of drivers side, fuel tank is in the way.

Question

Do you have any photos of that configuration?

Pics of my set up are in my gallery.

I'm changing mine. The right rear machined rim is starting to dull noticably.

Dual Exhausts

Hey guys,
thanks for all the advice. i will try to post pics of my current system i have as soon as possible. i'm getting my exhaust in about a week and a half so i could use all the advice that i can get. i'm kind of a new f150 owner but i love the beast. don't know too much about system wise so i gladly joined this forum. i got one more question. is there a difference in performance and loudness from duals in front of the tires opposed to duals in the back. i get back to you all in a couple days. thanks again for the help. peace out.

Here is what I did to my harley exhaust. Stock is dual tips behind the rear passenger tire. I moved it to the front. Right now it's straight out the side, going back to get it angled.
