Recomendations on Headers

Recomendations on Headers

I've been reading the forum and you guys are a great asset.

I've got a 2001 f150 offroad with a 5.4L. I need to put new headers on and I was wondering what would be the best buy for proformance and cost.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hooker headers are nice
headmans are good too
but id go with hookers
good price and good performance

bassani and dynatech and jethot make long tubes for he 5.4L shorties really arent worth the money u may see like 5-7 whp out of em not worth spending 500 bucks on but if u want the best shorties go with gibson or JBA

Welcome ! "The best buy for proformance and cost." That's oxymoronic at best. The cheap, shorty headers are a waste of time, effort, maintenance, and money for minimal results. The longtubes are worthwhile, but extremely expensive:
