i was wonderin what the loudest exhaust i can get i was thinkin dual straight pipes hehhehe ne suggestions????

 

cut out your converters and run straight pipes....or no converters with 12 or 15 inch glasspacks....that would be loud

ya'll older folks gotta realize that we want loud, we wanna make people look and see where the rackets comin from

 

i've found that if you go through life on a constant mission to get noticed or appreciated by others, you will be less happy then if you enjoy your hobbies, your skills, your truck FOR YOURSELF.

Additionally, in the case of the loud exhaust, for every one person that appreciates the racket, five or ten others will just be annoyed with it and hate you.

 

Don't worry what the older guy's say. If you want your truck loud, then do it. After all it is your truck. But, I do agree, w/ the advice about being noticed. Do what you do on your truck for yourself not anybody else. It is okay to take advice from other's, but in the end, do what makes you happy. If making your ride as loud as possible is one of those things, then do it.

Sigh, It's getting harder every year to remember my youth...but dangit I did the same thing way back when, put cherry bombs (is that what they are called anymore?)..straight pipes with glasspack sides.....man I made more enemies and gave myself more headaches than it was worth....everyone has their own path in life......everyone has to learn their own lessons.

Its sad to say I appreciate quiet over noise these days.....

 

My exhaust is fairly loud and I do like a loud exhaust, just so long as it is not near my front door when I'm napping. However something that is just rippin away as cool as it might be and as much attetion as it might grab, it might bring the wrong attention , you know the cops . At times some of the boys in blue can get a bug up their but and than it in turn ends up yours, that is the main reason I do not see the need for a super loud system. But to each their own hope it worked out for you.

 

you know that cutting out the cats is illegal in most states but i cut out the mufflers and am planning on headers with good and fairly loud results
