burn valves?

well i used to have a 90 ranger with a cherry bomb glass pack and it sounded nice for a lil V6 now i own a 1996 1/2 ton with a 302
i put a cheap turbo muffler on it cuz i thought that a high flow cherry bomb may make it burn valves does anyone accually factually know if it will burn the valves cuz i want it louder

I dont see how a muffler would cause your valves to burn.. I never heard of it either. It is possible to lose a little low end power if you go true dual, but one high flow muffler should be great. I say put any muffler you want on it, my dad has some glass packs on his pickup(the one I have listed as owning) he got them from advanced auto parts or that other popular auto part store that I can't think of the name at this point for like 35 bucks a muffler. It is pretty loud, not as loud as some, but you can here it from over 2 blocks away if your accellerating even moderately.
