exhausted...
hello all
i am new to this site and trucks in particular. i have a 2004 F150 (new style) and wanted to put an exhaust system and intake on my truck. possibly later a chip as well. i purchaced a volant intake already but have not installed it yet (is that a good one). i want to buy an exhaust and am trying to find the right one. i don't want the loudness of flowmasters cause i had it on my bronco and it was too loud in the cabin. i was thinking borla, gibson, or magnaflow. i am looking for a crisper/deep sound that a truck should have. what would you all suggest and where is the best website to purchace? keep budget in mind cause we all know that the truck it self was not cheap and put me back a few dollars. also later i wanted to install a performance chip... suggestions? thanks all and hope this can be fun!

You basically want the Troyer Stage 1. Air Force 1 > all others for F-150's. Borla and Magnaflow would be better choices for power and longevity over Gibson.
Magnaflow is alos kind of loud. Ive been told the borlas, which i have on order for my truck, are only somewhat loud when you mash on the pettle. When you are highway crusin they are no louder than stock. I have heard a gibson set up on a truck like mine and it didnt sound much different that stock. I have also heard alot of good about Bassani. Dont know anything about them though.
